About Francis Bacon

Francis Bacon (1561–1626) was an English philosopher, statesman, and essayist known for his promotion of the scientific method and empirical research. Often regarded as the father of empiricism, he advocated the use of inductive reasoning in science and sought to reform the methods of learning to improve human knowledge. His works, including "Novum Organum," laid the groundwork for modern scientific inquiry and greatly influenced the development of the Enlightenment.
